Lester Roberts, 90, of Kennewick, died July 24 in Kennewick.

He was born in Hickory, Mo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for many years.

He was retired from work at the Hanford site.

George Herod, 74, of Kennewick, died July 21 in Kennewick.

He was born in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 40 years.

He was retired from maintenance work at the Hanford site.

Paul Hohenberg

Paul Hohenberg, 99, of West Richland, died July 25 in West Richland.

He was born in Omaha, Neb., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 64 years.

He was a retired nuclear engineer.

Margaret Shannon, 95, of Richland, died July 21 in Richland.

She was born in Omaha, Neb., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 52 years.

She was the retired owner of Tri-Cities Cosmopolitan Travel.

Sheila R. Harper

Sheila Rae Harper, 68, of Kennewick, died July 25 at Ruan’s Garden Assisted Living in Kennewick.

She was born in Crandon, Wis., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 2011.

She was a homemaker.

Stu Belgard, 78, of Richland, died July 27 in Richland.

He was born in New Jersey and lived in Richland for 47 years.

He was a retired systems analyst.

Frances Zagarella, 91, of Kennewick, died July 22 in Kennewick.

She was born in Queens, N.Y., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 14 years.

Geoffrey McDonald Hart, 44, of Kennewick, died July 23 at Trios Health Southridge Hospital.

He was born in Richland and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

He was a warehouse worker for Lineage Logistics.

Mary Louise Oliver, 84, of Kennewick, died July 29 in Kennewick.

She was born in Connell and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 54 years.

She was a retired cashier for Lucky Dollar.

Jay R. Griffin

Jay Ryder Griffin, 82, of Prosser died July 22 in Prosser.

He was born in Bronxville, N.Y., and lived in Royal City from 1985-2014 when he moved to Prosser.

He was an electrical engineer until retiring in 2001.

Marilyn J. Swearingen

Marilyn Joyce Swearingen, 93, of the Tri-Cities, died July 23.

She lived in the Tri-Cities area for over 40 years.

She was an AKC dog show judge.

The Neptune Society of Spokane is in charge of arrangements.

James A. Richter

James A. Richter, 89, of the Tri-Cities, died July 2.

He lived in the Tri-Cities area for 80 years.

He was a retired sergeant for the Washington State Patrol.

The Neptune Society of Spokane is handling the arrangements.
