He was born in Elsa, Texas, and was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired police officer.

Irvin R. Curfman

Irvin Roy Curfman, 74, of Grandview, died July 18 in Walla Walla.

He was born in Sunnyside, and lived in the Yakima Valley for 25 years.

He was a veteran and retired Navy aviation electrician

Wilma Herrin

Wilma Herrin, 96, of Richland, died July 11 in Richland.

She was born in Marlow, Okla., and has lived in the Tri-Cities for 75 years.

She was a retired homemaker.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Richard McCartney

Richard McCartney, 70, of Richland, died July 13 in Richland.

He was born in Portland, Ore., and has lived in the Tri-Cities for 39 years.

He was a retired surgeon.

Einan’s at Sunset Funeral Home, Richland, is in charge of arrangements.

John S. Ebberson

John S. Ebberson, 94, of Pasco, died July 17 in Pasco.

He was an army veteran.

The Neptune Society is in charge of arrangements.
