He was born in Richland and was a lifelong Tri-Citian.
He was the pastor at Paterson Community Church for 25 years, worked at the Hanford site for 12 years and spent 18 years as a paramedic for the Kennewick Fire Department.

He was born in Clarksville, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 20 years.
