She was born in Herrin, Ill., and lived in the Tri-Cities area since 1991.

Fernando ‘Ferny’ Esqueda
Fernando “Ferny” Esqueda, 33, of Sunnyside, died Aug. 22 in Sunnyside.
He was born in Sunnyside and was a lifelong resident of the Lower Yakima Valley.
He was a hyster driver.

Maria Suarez Lewis
Maria A. Suarez Lewis, 88, of Kennewick, died Aug. 22 in Kennewick.
She was born in La Sara, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 57 years.
She was a homemaker.

Newell L. Crary Jr.
Newell Lewis Crary Jr., 73, of Kennewick, died Aug. 11 at home in Kennewick.
He was born in Saranac Lake, N.Y., and lived in Kennewick for 26 years.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy.
