She was born in Allegan, Mich., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 70 years.

Madlyn Lorraine Simpson, 97, of Prosser, died Aug. 9 at home in Sun Terrance.
She was born in Andover, S.D. and lived in Prosser since 1959.
She was a retired clerk at Cross Pharmacy in Prosser until retiring in 1987.

Jose Ortega Nonato, 75, of Pasco, died Aug. 7 in Pasco.
He was born in Santiago Ixcuintla, Nayarit, Mexico, and lived in the Tri-Cities 10 years.
He was a retired agricultural laborer.
