He was a civil engineer and geologist for highway projects.

Roland Neil Thompson, 91, of Richland, died June 13 in Richland.
He was born in Kinbrae, Minn., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1952.
He was a retired maintenance manager at Hanford.

He was a retired draftsman for a beverage distributor.
