She was born in Froid, Mont., and lived in Kennewick for nearly two years after moving from Great Falls, Mont.

She was a retired registered nurse.

Laverne A. Knoepfel

Laverne Alice Knoepfel, 84, of Kennewick, died May 22 in Kennewick.

She was born in Seattle and lived in the Tri-Cities for 48 years.

She was a retired secretary for Westinghouse Hanford.

Danny Snapp

Danny Snapp, 65, of Richland, died May 21 in Richland.

He was born in Prosser and lived in the Tri-Cities for 53 years.

He was retired from the railroad industry.

Phyliss J. Hirschel

Phyliss J. Hirschel, 88, of Kennewick, died May 20 in Kennewick.

She was born in Walla Walla and lived in Kennewick for 68 years.

She was a retired bus driver for the Kennewick School District.

Irma Roberts

Irma Roberts, 88, of Richland, died May 21 in Kennewick.

She was born in Blackfoot, Idaho, and lived in the Tri-Cities for seven years.

She was a homemaker.

Maureen Neidhold, 81, of Richland, died May 20 at Chaplaincy Hospice House.

She was born in Fall River, Mass., and lived in Richland for 76 years.

She was a retired nurse at Kadlec Hospital.

Gerard ‘Gerry’ Hazen

Gerard “Gerry” J. Hazen, 66, of Pasco, died May 15 at Trios Southridge Hospital.

He was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, and lived in the Tri-Cities since the 1970s.

He was retired carpenter.

Virginia Rieck, 88, of Richland, died May 19 in Kennewick.

She was born in Illinois and lived in Tri-Cities for 73 years.

She was a homemaker.

John R. Wells

John Roger Wells, 76, of Benton City, died May 17 in Richland.

He was born in Boise and was a longtime Benton City resident.

He was the owner/operator and paint chemist at BJ Paint and Carpet in Prosser.
