He served in the U.S. Air Force as a airborne radar technician and retired as a instrument technician at Westinghouse Hanford.

He was born in Davenport, Iowa, and lived in Richland for 21 years.
He worked in HVAC repair and sales.

Mary Gillette, 89, of Kennewick, died Jan. 23 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.
She was born in Snoqualamie Falls and lived in the Tri-City area for eight years.
She was a retired administrative assistant for the U.S. Federal Probation Office.
