Edward Bruce Sprouse, 91, of Richland, died Jan. 12, at his Richland home.

He was born in Tokyo, Japan, and had lived in the Tri-Cities area since 1967.

He was a retired art teacher at Hanford High School.

Matthew O. Paeschke

Matthew O. Paeschke, 54, of Prosser, died Jan. 16 in Prosser.

He was born in Prosser and was a long-time Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a mechanic at a juice warehouse.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.

Jamie T. Schielke

Jamie Thomas Schielke, 59, of Kennewick, died Jan. 14 at Trios Southridge Hospital in Kennewick.

He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and lived in the Tri-City area for 10 years.

He was a distributor for the Tri-City Herald newspaper.

Yuen-Wah Chan

Yuen-Wah Chan, 101, of Kennewick, died Jan. 13 in Kennewick.

She was born in China and lived in Kennewick for three years.

She was a homemaker.

Evelyn ‘Dolly’ Granger

Evelyn “Dolly” M. Granger, 87, of Richland, died Jan. 14 in Richland.

She was born in Minneapolis, Minn., and lived in the Tri-City area for 34 years.

She was a homemaker and personal caretaker.

Ida Stone

Ida Stone, 90, of Pasco, died Jan. 16 at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.

She was born in Mott, N.D., and lived in Pasco for 64 years.

She was self employed at Ida’s Lunch.

Columbia Memorial Funeral Chapel and Gardens, Pasco, is in charge of arrangements.

Garret Leon Munson

Garret Leon Munson, 67, of Richland, died Jan. 16 in Richland.

He was born in Lincoln, Neb., and has lived in the Tri-Cities since 1954.

He was a retired dishwasher.

Julie Anne Schmidt

Julie Anne Schmidt, 67, of Kennewick, died Jan. 16, in Kennewick.

She was born in Dumas, Texas and lived int he Tri-Cities for 63 years.

She was a retired financial advisor for Ameriprise Financial.
