Max E. Benitz Jr.
Max E. Benitz Jr., 72, of Prosser, died July 11 in Prosser.
He was born in Sunnyside, and was a lifetime Yakima Valley resident and longtime Prosser resident.
He served as Benton County Port commissioner for eight years and Benton County commissioner for 16 years.
Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
