Jose R. Cardenas

Jose R. Cardenas, 87, of Sunnyside, died Aug. 24 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Weslaco, Texas, and was a longtime Yakima Valley resident.

He retired from work in the hop industry.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
