Gustavo Cardenas, 67, of Sunnyside, died Jan. 25 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Weslaco, Texas, and was a longtime Sunnyside resident.

He was a retired farm laborer.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
