James “Jim” Faix, 78, of Othello, died May 11 in Othello.

He was born in Hillsboro, Ore., and lived in Othello for 36 years.

He was a retired agriculture agronomist.

Stevens Funeral Chapel, Othello, is in charge of arrangements.
