The Washington state attorney general, Bob Ferguson, will be in Pasco June 29 for a public meeting on worker exposure to chemical vapors at Hanford.

Hanford Challenge says a panel of experts will answer questions related to recent exposures at Hanford and the current risk to workers.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Pasco union hall used by Local 598 at 1328 N. 28th Ave.

The state of Washington, Hanford Challenge and Local 598 have filed a federal lawsuit against the Department of Energy and its tank farm contractor, Washington River Protection Solutions, seeking better worker protection from vapors associated with waste held in underground tanks.
