Radiation researcher plans exposure, risk lectures

Radiation exposure and cancer risk will be discuss by retired researcher Tony Brooks at the annual Herbert M. Parker lectures at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

He will discuss how the body responds to low doses of radiation at 2 p.m. April 6 in the East Auditorium. The presentation will cover the Department of Energy Low Dose Radiation Research Program and its implications on radiation and cancer risk assessment.

He will discuss his experiences as a WSU Tri-Cities radiation researcher in a talk focusing on internally deposited radioactive material at 6:30 p.m. April 7 in the East Auditorium.
