Nuclear and the cost of energy topic of Richland talk Jan. 19

James Conca, a scientist and Forbes online columnist, will discuss “The Cost of Energy — Nuclear’s Dilemma” Jan. 19 at a meeting of the Eastern Washington section of the American Nuclear Society at the Red Lion Hanford House, 802 George Washington Way, Richland.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with a buffet dinner. Cost is $22 at the door. There is no cost to attend the talk at 7 p.m. Make reservations at www.anseasternwashington.org.
