Limited negotiations on collective bargaining agreements have concluded for union workers at four Hanford contractors, with union officials recommending members approve the deal.
The agreement would cover workers under the Hanford Atomic Metal Trades Council, or HAMTC, at Mission Support Alliance, Washington River Protection Solutions and CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Co. Advanced Technologies and Laboratories also participated in the negotiations, but its contract is ending in November.
Workers are being sent letters with the details and will vote Oct. 22.
The proposed agreement maintains the same schedule of medical, dental and vision benefits through 2019 for most contractors. Wage increases would be 2 percent for 2016, 2017 and 2018, according to HAMTC, an umbrella group for 14 affiliated unions.
