A public meeting on work done to date to evaluate the remaining risk at Hanford is planned 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 28 in Room 142 of the Federal Building, 825 Jadwin Ave., Richland.
The Consortium for Risk Evaluation with Stakeholder Participation is conducting the review for the Department of Energy and will present information from its interim progress report.
The results of the project are intended to provide information to help determine the sequence of the remaining environmental cleanup work at Hanford nuclear reservation. The interim report is posted at www.cresp.org/hanford.
