Cold War Patriots plans four meetings in Richland to discuss a federal compensation program for workers whose health has been harmed by working at Hanford, other sites that contributed to Department of Energy nuclear work or Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Meetings will be at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 16 and 17 at the Hampton Inn, 486 Bradley Blvd., Richland.
Cold War Patriots is a nonprofit group started by a Colorado-based company that offers home nursing care.
The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program offers medical care to workers who qualify and payments of up to $400,000 to ill workers or their survivors.
