Meet the 1st parks manager of the Hanford national park at open house

The first National Park Service manager for the Hanford portion of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park will be welcomed to the Tri-Cities at an open house Wednesday.

Both Becky Burghart, the park site’s new manager, and Sue Masica, the director of the Intermountain Region of the National Park Service, are scheduled to attend.

The open house is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the National Historical Park Interim Visitor Center, 2000 Logston Blvd., Richland.
