AmeriCorps’ poster contest finalists announced

The Regional Service Corps-AmeriCorps’ annual I Love to Read! poster contest, available to students in grades K-6, held its finalist award ceremony April 23.

Winners were Billy Hong and Justin Choi from the Kennewick branch, Kylee Kukes and Giovanni Viggiano from the West Richland branch, Kenya Reyes and Emilia Smith from the Keewaydin Park branch, Selena Serra and Alexis Leyva from the West Pasco branch, Aliyah Sandoval and Jacob Iñiquez from the Pasco branch and Darin Choi and Quirin Choi of the Richland Public Library.

Each finalist received a prize and certificate. Hong, the grand prize winner, received a brand new bicycle from Scott’s Cycle and Sports and the Chinook Cycling Club, as well as a helmet from the Safe Kids Coalition.
