Two films about school testing to be screened at CBC on May 25, June 2

The Washington State K14 Faculty Senate and Research Alliance is screening films Race to Nowhere and Beyond Measure from 6 to 8 p.m. May 25 and June 2 at the Columbia Basin College Library’s lecture hall, L102.

Both films, by director Vicki Abeles, have been viewed more than 6,000 times in local venues by teachers, administrators, and parents. Beyond Measure presents real responses taken by schools faced with challenges in the current testing environment, and Race to Nowhere is a call to action.

The screenings are free, as long as participants email the number of people attending.

To attend, email Bickenheuser at cbickenheuser@wafacultysenate.org.
