Tri-Tech students honored with scholarship awards

Several Tri-Tech Skills Center students recently were honored with scholarship awards:

▪ Columbia Center Rotary Achievement Award for Vocational Excellence (RAAVE), $2,000: Odalys Gonzalez, early childhood education, Kamiakin High School; Yessica Cancino Valdovinos, early childhood education, Kennewick High School; Natalie Mullen, firefighting, Kennewick High School; Cinthia Llamas, pre-nursing, Chiawana High School; Igor Sloboda, pre-nursing, Richland High School.

▪ Columbia Center Rotary Tool & Equipment Award, $500: Elijah Gomez, construction, Southridge High School; Miguel Rodriquez, auto body, Chiawana High School.

▪ Pasco, Kennewick Rotary Tool & Equipment Award, $1,000: Elijah Gomez, construction, Southridge High School; Bryce Davis, AM auto body, Columbia Burbank High School; Miguel Rodriquez, auto body, Chiawana High School; Enrique Leal, AM construction, Chiawana High School; Eduardo Ramos, PM auto systems, Kennewick High School.

▪ Sunrise Rotary Tool/Equipment Award, $2,000: Bryson Davis, auto body, Columbia Burbank High School.

▪ Columbia Valley Daybreak Tool/Equipment Award, $500: Elijah Gomez, construction, Southridge High School

▪ Kennewick School Foundation – Faurot Family Scholarship, $750: Brooke Sward, pre-nursing, Kennewick High School; Tyler Junt, firefighting, Legacy High School.

▪ Ye Olde Car Club Scholarship, $500: Miguel Rodriguez, auto body, Chiawana High School

▪ Local 1296 Fire Fighters Scholarship, $500: Cameron Hagins, firefighting, Hanford High School; Tyler Junt, firefighting, Legacy High School.

▪ Mark Kennedy Memorial Fund, $400: Amber Carlyle, radio, Kennewick High.
