Hanford High School Key Club receives district project award

The Hanford High School Key Club received the “District Project Award” at the Pacific Northwest District Convention for Key Club, held recently in Seattle.

The club members earned the award for their ongoing fundraising efforts to help eliminate neonatal and maternal tetanus for Project Eliminate, a joint Kiwanis and UNICEF project.

The club’s faculty advisers are counselor Cathy Kuwamoto and career choices/work-based learning teacher Laurie Price.
