4 Kadlec junior volunteers to receive $2,000 awards

The Kadlec Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will present recognition awards to four junior volunteers May 10. All are graduating seniors.

Award recipients are Stephanie Lommers of Southridge High, Laura Meng of Hanford High, and Swetha Shutthanandan and Marlee Turner of Richland High.

Each $2,000 award will be applied toward college tuition at the recipient’s chosen college.

Lommers plans to study nursing at Seattle Pacific University, Meng plans to study biochemistry and music at the University of Washington, Shutthanandan plans to study human biology at Stanford University, and Turner plans to study global/international health and/or anthropology at Georgetown University.
