Richland High School freshman earns state title in math

Bryan Fang, a Richland High School freshman, earned a state championship medal at the Washington State Mathematics Contest held April 23 in Ellensburg.

Fang took first place in the Ad-Hoc Team Problem Division, and also was recognized with a Distinguished Freshman award.

The contest was sponsored by the Washington State Mathematics Council.
