Walla Walla names superintendent finalists
The Walla Walla School Board has identified the top three candidates for its district’s superintendent ahead of their visiting the district and sitting for follow up interviews beginning Feb. 29.
The candidates are Superintendent Kent Kultgen of the Helena School District in Helena, Mont.; Assistant Superintendent Molly Ringo of Everett Public Schools and Deputy Superintendent Wade Smith of the Hermiston School District.
Current Walla Walla Superintendent Bill Jordan is retiring June 30 and his successor will take on his duties July 1.
The board will hold public forums for the public to meet with the candidates, all from 5 to 6:15 p.m. in the district’s boardroom at 364 S. Park St. in Walla Walla:

▪ Wade Smith, March 2
