Education agency to celebrate facility expansion groundbreaking on Feb. 22
An agency serving more than 20 school districts in southeast Washington will break ground Feb. 22 on an expansion to its Pasco headquarters.
The $3.6 million addition to Educational Service District 123’s Professional Development Center at 3918 W. Court St. in Pasco, will more than double the building’s space, a release said. It will provide additional offices for programs, new conference facilities and a state-of-the-art technologically advanced “Classroom for the Future” meant as a resource to educators in adapting instruction.
The ESD is one of nine such agencies in the state and works with local school districts on providing resources and assistance on various efforts and programs.
The groundbreaking starts at 4 p.m. and is open to the public.
