Richland students earn awards at LEGO robotics competition

A team of students from Richland’s Chief Joseph Middle School and Three Rivers HomeLink won two engineering awards at the recent First LEGO League Eastern Washington State Robotics Championship.

The team, dubbed The Oscars, earned the highest scores in the robot programming and robot performance categories.

Team members include Emmaline McKinnon, Camilla McKinnon, Olivia Walton, Chance Larsen, Calvin Webber, Eliza Orton, Aubrey Larsen, Jaxon Larsen and Noah Walton.
