West Richland medical student receives surgery fellowship
Dr. David Panther, a former PNNL researcher, has been awarded a fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatology oncology in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The surgery fellowship is with Dr. David Brodland, a Mohs surgery specialist trained by Dr. Frederic Mohs, who pioneered the technique in the late 1930s.
Dr. Panther finished first in his class as a dermatology resident at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California.
He is the son of Steve and Virginia Panther of West Richland.
