Christ the King to hold open house Jan. 31

Those interested in learning about Christ the King School in Richland or just celebrating Catholic schools are encouraged to attend Mass at the school’s parish on Jan. 31.

Christ the King students and staff will serve in key roles during the 9:30 a.m. Mass at the parish church at 1111 Stevens Drive in Richland. Afterward, all are welcome to tour the neighboring school located at 1122 Long Ave. Middle school students will also perform a preview of this year’s production of “Beauty and the Beast.”

The event is intended to help kick off the national Catholic Schools Week, which seeks to promote Catholic schools and education. Christ the King students and those from the other Tri-City Catholic schools will end with an All Schools Mass in the chapel of Tri-Cities Prep on Feb. 5.
