Awards & Achievements for Jan. 17
▪ Betti Gregg, of Kennewick, is a recent graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana, with a master of arts degree. She is a teacher for the Kennewick School District and has been for 16 years.
She is a 1984 graduate of Kennewick High School, and holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in education from Heritage University in Toppenish.
She is the wife of Martin Gregg, and daughter of Betti Slocumb of Kennewick and the late Byard Slocumb.
▪ Tyler Erlenbush, of Pasco, graduated from Perry Technical Institute in Yakima from the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technology program. Adrian Medina and Hunter Vickerman, both of Pasco, graduated from the electrical technology program at Perry.
▪ Clayten Ayres, of Kennewick, completed courses with exemplary marks and made the dean’s list for fall semester at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga. Students making the dean’s list completed at least 12 hours of coursework with a 3.5 grade-point average or higher.
▪ Kaylee Kroll, of Richland, has received the Presidential Scholarship for $3,000 to Eastern Washington University for the 2015-16 academic year. This scholarship is awarded to students with a 3.8+ high school GPA, 1250+ SAT/28+ ACT.
Kaylee graduated from Richland High School last June and attends EWU.
At Richland High, Kaylee played girls basketball and participated in the Running Start program at Columbia Basin College, where she received an associate’s in arts degree.
Kaylee is the daughter of Gail and Ben Kroll of Richland.
