Indoor Olympics fun at private Kennewick school

Bryson Knapik, an eighth-grader at Bethlehem Lutheran School, drops low to improve his angle Friday during the hockey shoot event in the private school’s gymnasium. The event was part of the Kennewick school’s 31st annual Indoor Olympics program. Different teams of students, each comprised of students from each grade, competed in a variety of events, such as standing long jump, free throw, bowling, math and the hockey shoot. The students were also encouraged to dress in colorful clothes, paint their faces or hair to match their team’s colors.
