ESD board to meet to interview superintendent candidates

The board of Educational Service District 123 will have a special closed-door meeting Jan. 7 to interview candidates for the district’s superintendent position. Any decision to hire a candidate must be made in an open session.

Superintendent Bruce Hawkins is scheduled to retire at the end of June.

The meeting is 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the district’s offices at 3918 W. Court St. in Pasco.
