Brault losing in Pasco School Board race, Lehrman’s status against challenger unclear

Pasco School Board President Ryan Brault is losing to challenger Aaron Richardson in the first tally of votes in Tuesday’s election. Richardson had 2,191 votes, or 54 percent, of more than 5,000 ballots counted.

Board Vice President Scott Lehrman has more than 2,600 votes, about 800 more than Brault and hundreds more than Richardson received, but it isn’t immediately known how he fared against write-in challenger Kathleen Barton.

The Franklin County Auditor’s Office estimates there are about 1,600 ballots left to count.
