Pasco shifts dates for parent-teacher conferences, early release day

The Pasco School District has made another change to its calendar.

Parent-teacher conference dates for kindergartners through eighth-graders, originally scheduled for November, were pushed to Dec. 8-11. The district has also moved a December early release date for secondary students to Nov. 18.

District officials said the change was made at the request of elementary school teachers, who were concerned that the conferences and the end of the school year’s first trimester didn’t line up.
