Richland names new principal for Hanford High School
Tory Christensen, who has served as an assistant principal at Hanford High School since 2010, is now the Richland school’s principal.
The district announced Christensen’s new position Thursday. He has worked in the district since 2006 when he became a counselor at Hanford High. He replaces Ken Gosney, who served as principal since 2008, and left to take a position with Goodwill Industries of the Columbia.
“As both a counselor and an assistant principal, Tory has impacted students and fellow staff in a positive and significant way,” Superintendent Rick Schulte said in a release. “I look forward to his continued leadership in the district for many years to come.”
