CBC offers kids’ Science and Technology Day

Local students will get a chance to explore their academic options in engineering, technology and science at the Benton Franklin 4-H sponsored Science and Technology Day from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at Columbia Basin College, 2600 N. 20th Ave. in Pasco.

The event is open to students in third- through 12th-grade. Students can participate in three of the five activities: Building Lego robots, playing with rockets, learning about how airplanes fly, participating in the National 4-H Youth Science Experiment “Motion Commotion,” and touring the CBC planetarium.

Admission is free, but registration is required. Call 509-545-3511 to RSVP.
