Columbia Basin College and Heritage University celebrate long partnership Sept. 23

Free BBQ and an open house can be expected at Columbia Basin College’s upcoming celebratory luncheon, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 23 to commemorate the long partnership between CBC and Heritage University.

The luncheon will take place in the CBC pavilion, 2600 N 20th Ave. in Pasco. The campus community and the public are invited.

CBC and Heritage became partners in 2003, when Heritage established a center on the CBC campus to provide bachelor’s degree opportunities for local residents. CBC provides the two-year associate degree. Heritage offers opportunities for bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice, K-8 education and social work, and master’s degrees in K-8 teaching, teacher leadership, pro-teach and educational administration.
