Drone view of Kamiakin High School’s $14 million classroom expansion

Crews work Tuesday at Kamiakin High School to add 12 new classrooms for special education, science and career and technical education, also more parking and upgrades to athletic facilities.

The existing grass field will become artificial turf and the running track is being replaced. Restrooms, concessions and storage areas are also being added in the estimated $14 million project.

The school will be able to hold up to 2,000 students when the project is done next August.
