Redmond High’s team wins Science Bowl in Pasco

Redmond High School’s team of all freshmen won the regional Department of Energy Science Bowl held Saturday at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.

The team will be going to the national competition in Washington, D.C., after emerging as the most knowledgeable of 25 teams from across Washington state.

Among competitors were teams representing Hanford, Kamiakin, Kennewick, Richland and Southridge high schools in the Tri-Cities.
