Prosser teacher wins historical society award

Michelle Hall, a Housel Middle School teacher in the Prosser School District, has been selected as the 2016 winner of the Washington State Historical Society’s Governor’s Award for Teaching History.

As the 2015-16 winner of the Washington State National History Day’s Teacher of the Year, her name was submitted for this honor.

She received the governor’s award at the Washington State History Museum on Sept. 24.
