Autopsy planned on victim of Richland house fire

An autopsy is planned Thursday on the body of Linda Saracson, the victim in the house fire Friday morning at 403 Adams St. in Richland, according to the Benton County coroner’s office.

The investigation into the cause continues, with the Richland Fire Department releasing no new information Monday.

Saracson, who was deaf, died in the fire with a dog and cat. When firefighters arrived, flames were coming out of the front and the rear of the house and the fire was too hot for them to enter.
