Richland man injured in one car wreck near Connell

A Richland man was injured early Sunday morning when his vehicle struck a rock embankment off U.S. 395 near Connell.

The Washington State Patrol said Lonny R. Barton, 44, was driving southbound when his vehicle left the road and struck a rock embankment, causing it to roll. The wreck occurred shortly after 2 a.m.

Barton was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. His condition was unknown.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
