Kennewick man jailed for cellphone robbery
A man was arrested after he reportedly stole another driver’s cellphone after crashing into his car in Kennewick early Friday.
The robbery happened near the intersection of West Kennewick Avenue and Vista Way when a white Jeep stopped in front of the victim and backed up into his car.
Jordon R. Cryblskey, 31, of Kennewick, then allegedly approached the victim while “making strange statements,” police said.
When the victim tried to call 911, Cryblskey grabbed his cellphone and drove off. Police later spotted the Jeep and arrested him.
Cryblskey was booked at 2:50 a.m. into the Benton County jail on investigation of first-degree robbery.
