3 juveniles fail to steal retro Camaro in Kennewick

Three juveniles were arrested in Kennewick after they failed to steal a classic Chevy Camaro early Saturday.

Police responded to reports about midnight of several juveniles wandering around Dan’s Garage, located at 508 E. Bruneau Ave.

They managed to start the car, but the driver, a 15-year-old, didn’t know how to operate a manual transmission. The purple 1971 Camaro also had a flat tire, police said.

The juveniles were booked into Benton-Franklin juvenile jail for auto theft.
