Kennewick pickup driver injured in collision with semi

A pickup driver was injured in a collision with a semi Wednesday on Interstate 182 at the Richland city limits, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Eugene L. Myers, 66, of Kennewick, was westbound about 8 a.m. when he struck a Kenworth semi driven by Dwaine F. Radke, 77, of Lincoln, Neb., the state patrol said. Radke, who was not injured, was traveling slowly in the right lane.

Myers was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where he was treated and later released. He was cited for following too close.
