Man assaults parents, damages Kennewick home

A Kennewick man was arrested after damaging his parents’ home with a baseball bat Tuesday morning.

Mitchell Larson, 26, damaged the inside of the house on the 5900 block of West 17th Avenue and assaulted his parents, police said. He refused to leave when officers arrived about 9 a.m.

Larson was arrested after officers obtained a search warrant to enter. He was booked into Benton County jail without bail on holds for assault.
