Pasco woman, 2 Benton City residents injured in I-90 wreck

A Pasco woman and two Benton City residents were among five injured in a wreck Sunday six miles from Cle Elum.

The wreck occurred at 12:55 p.m. on east Interstate 90 when the driver of a Dodge Durango, Adele Rangel, 52, of Benton City, collided with a Volkswagen Golf that then struck a Toyota 4Runner, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Rangel, Lupe F. Vigil, 59, of Pasco, and Maria E. Flores, 54, of Benton City, were taken to Kittitas Valley Healthcare for injuries.

Brittney R. Paisley, 32, of Seattle, and Shelby W. Hutton, 33, of Phoenix, were also taken to Kittitas Valley Healthcare.

All drivers injured were wearing their seat belts, the state patrol said. Rangel was cited for inattention and following too close.
