DUI suspected in rollover crash south of Mesa
A Kennewick man is suspected of driving under the influence of intoxicants in a Sunday morning crash on Highway 395.
Valentin Centeno Jimenez, 38, was southbound at 8:26 a.m. when his 2005 Nissan Frontier drove off the highway into the median, where it rolled.
The pickup came to rest on its top, the Washington State Patrol said. The crash happened two miles south of Mesa.
Centeno Jimenez, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for treatment, the report said.
The state patrol recommended a DUI charge.
